Free Paliometochoköy Now! ....... :D

Presumably these Lidl Stores will be over-run by the Cheapskate CarpetBaggers from opening day.

There were plenty of Cypriots there on the non-opening day. I doubt those who shop in M&S food hall and love to look for their 'English' stuff in Carrefour will go over to shopping in Lidls. Lidls don't do many known brands.

All I know is that thanks to the Brits on this forum, LIDL has become hated before it has even commenced trading!

Speaking of things Brit and German ... another sign of the increasing role of German Trade in and from the Free Areas, and the declining importance of things GBish.

Why do so many people have this fascination with the Krauts!

When the Swedes (Ikea) got here it was something new, but another bloody supermarket?

The Krauts?

If I recall, you did a brilliant impression of Hitler!
