A Symbolic Russian Visit!

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

A Symbolic Russian Visit!

Postby MrH » Fri Oct 08, 2010 8:01 pm

Unfortunately, the Cyprus problem will never be solved under a Federal structure - we all know that. If two Partner peoples of the original "Cyprus Republic" had a desire to form a federation of some kind, it would have been done and dusted by now. In my view, it's to late. The Russian President only cares about the Greek Cypriot ROC's financial and religious connections and doesn't care about any political solution on a tiny island smaller than its most tiny russian mountain area (somewhere in the east! Ha Ha). This trip was nothing other than a symbolic one, and the Greek Cypriots know it. Additionally, how could Cyprus be so close to a nation that is not part of the European Union, which the EU recognised Kosovo besides Greek Cyprus (Strange! I thought the EU were in complete unison?), while at the same time having a separate agenda with Russia. Russia is playing the Greek Cypriot Republic of Cyprus like a worthless feather falling from an astray bird. Does Greek Cyprus actually know what it's politically doing? Plus, we didn't see the Russian President visit Northern Cyprus, the so-called other part of the ROC which the Greek Cypriots are so bent on being EU representatives of!

I have spoken to a number of very close Russian friends in the media world who said that they didn't even bother reporting such an insignificant trip. "Why?" I asked, "Because he chose to visit Greek Cyprus while on his Holidays! It wasn't official!". Well, that explains it then, the Russian President decided to take a holiday and GC Leader Christofias got childishly excited about it.

Why have I said the above? Well, please read the latest agreements between Turkey and Russian as I'm sure Christofias' so-called received "assurance" regarding the Cyprus issue will make no sense at all.

If Cyprus was that "worthless" why would Russia even bother?

The sad thing is that only a "Turkish Cypriot" could've possibly written such an awful comment about our beloved country! Is it any wonder why we'll never let you get your dirty hands on our beautiful country?

we didn't see the Russian President visit Northern Cyprus,

Obviously because that area is closed off and there's nothing of interest there! Did you see Christofias visit troubled/disputed Russian areas when he visited Russia?

I have spoken to a number of very close Russian friends in the media world who said that they didn't even bother reporting such an insignificant trip.

From the Moscow Times:

From Pravda:

From the Russian News Room:

From The Voice of Russia:
http://english.ruvr.ru/2010/09/13/20045854.html

And these are just the Russia-English newspapers!

"Why?" I asked, "Because he chose to visit Greek Cyprus while on his Holidays! It wasn't official!".

From the Kremlin:

"Dmitry Medvedev will make an official visit to Cyprus"

You need to change your uneducated friends, but then again you're a perfect match!

Why have I said the above?

Because you're a Cyprus hating idiot and a loser? Image

Unfortunately Get Real, I wrote that deliberately as I knew you'd respond first, and particularly with such a negative response. I know it's hard for the Greek Cypriot nationalists on this forum to agree with any comment by a Turkish Cypriot unless he agrees to live as a minority under a Greek Cypriot Fascist society, but it so satisfies people like me to read how negative your comments are and how blind you always are.

However, and this is the very sad thing of how we've become so distant; Greeks and Turks of Cyprus, regarding every aspect of the Cyprus issue whether it's about a visit from a politician to the Greek Cypriot ROC to a Greek Cypriot admitting how they've denied the very humanitarian rights and liberties of every Turkish Cypriot since 1963.

All our arguments are related to one pinacle factor, and that's that we are very different in every way. As two Partner peoples of the original Cyprus Republic of 1960, any chance of any kind of unification has been exhausted.

We all know that the Greeks of Cyprus FORCED the British with terrorism and violence in the establishment of the Cyprus Republic from British Rule since 1878, but with one missing factor overlooked - making us partners!

We SHARE the Island, and after many denied years, we, like yourselves, have gained the TRNC by force and that is how it will remain. You killed many British in hijacking what you falsely believed in 1960 was the end of British influence on the island, but was finally bitten when the predictions of the Turks that you would betray us Came TRUE. You have lost Northern Cyprus like how Yugoslavia lost its Federal structure. I know you live in this forum day and night, a luxury I can not afford, but at least we TCs know that the TRNC is here to stay, recognised by Turkey, acknowledged by the OIC and indirectly accepted by the UN and EU according to the process underscored by the Annan Plan referendum in 2004.

You will soon realise how powerful Eroglu is when Plan B is presented!

Wrongly written Boomerang you silly man, I would have thought that you would have gathered how Secularist, patriotic and passionate Eroglu is of the TRNC as opposed to some kind of Religious law! At least the TRNC is not ruled by a bunch of GC Church goers with oversized ninja suits and funny hats. Face it, Christofias is only a symbolic over-eating twat who is dictacted by a bunch of GC Archbishop child abusers - like most priests are!

But they do already have their hands on the most beautiful bits of it.

Or are you only including the South in 'our beautiful country'?

MrT, you’re a shameless prolific liar and childish story fabricator and these are behavioral characteristics so typical of “Turkish Cypriots” for which I can’t imagine ANYONE in the right mind wanting to have anything to do with you lot!

I’ve torn your lies to shreds once again in this dumb thread of yours, and all you could do was post yet another screen full of baloney irrelevant to your initial post!

Just what exactly are you trying to prove because all you manage is to expose your stupidity and bury your community even deeper in shame!

You’re a waste of space and a pitiful character! :?

...amazing, according to you, whatever they were, a deep state like turkey's, they managed to take their third of the poulation and cultivate a society that is globally respected the Sovereign State. what? religion envy? wish you had one?

...this visit, this topic, reminiscent of mr ki moon, but the shoe is on the other foot.

...although i will agree with you for one thing MrH, we have strayed very far from the Great Cooperators we were, the most socialised People in the world; all for a "Greek" and a "Turk".

That sums it up. The visit of the Russian President was as official as it gets and his visit was covered by all major Russian media most of which send reporters to Cyprus.
