I guess this being a CYPRUS forum, gives me the right to give links in Greek, the OFFICIAL LANGUAGE and the only language that has been around for the past few thousand years... You can use translation websites if you like.

And those are not theories. Go ask the deported German explorers.

Anthropologist and Archaeologist Theresa Mitsopoulou's theories about the reasons for the similarities in ancient Greek and Chinese culture have not made her popular with the Greek Archaeologists and Academics. But they should probably make their peace with her because she may be right.

As shown above in red, Theresa Mitsopoulou states they are theories. You are a lost case. Shot yourself in the foot.

She had a THEORY that Zulus, Greeks and Chinese lived together. Greek towns in China is not a theory. Neither is the name.

Plus that's another THEORY that they shared the same culture. Is that what I said is not a theory?

Go back to sleep Kliks and dream some more for our amusement.

Similar theories - about Turkish ancestry also exist in Turkish extremism too. They are best ignored - unless proven to be 100% correct. I think you are on shaky ground. As was said above - they may be true, but on the other hand they may not be true.

Interesting that you pay more attention to something which can be refuted and focus the discussion on that while avoiding to talk about the important stuff relating to Cyprus. Which the only response I got was the "fascism" card.

As for Turkish extremism, you mean the "descendants of Genghis Khan" stories? It is true to some extent, that the original Turkic tribes were in China, oppressed by the rulers as all minorities were in ancient China. The Turkic tribes were indeed driven away by the Chinese, just like other tribes that weren't 100% Chinese. And there are signs of migration of the Turkic tribes that relates to lower Siberia and other regions, a group of nomad tribes that moved until they found settlements to stay in. Hence we have lots of Turkic countries like Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and generally all -stan except for Pakistan as well as spread in countries like China, Russia, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia... Seljuks, Ottomans etc wanted to go further on and merge 'by force' with other ethnic groups like Assyrians, Persians, Arabs(who had done the same earlier) so eventually they reached Anatolia and rest is very well known. This is the history of the Turkic people in just 1 paragraph.

denizaksulu, your sig says "How proud I am that I am a Cypriot." Assuming it's not sarcastic, which probably is but I'll go with the odds, what makes you proud about Cyprus?

Now there's a good boy, but you must eat your cornflakes in the morning first otherwise it goes through one ear and comes out the other. BTW have you cleaned your ears lately and make sure you wash your hands next time you go to the toilet, the shit you typing stinks.

Great Wall started to fortify the Qin from the Xiongnu. What does that have to do with anything I said? Or did you expect the Chinese to build walls anytime they felt someone was against them

I am NOT talking about Genghiz Khan; but in your own words do your own research. I should charge you for the info.

Why should I explain my Cypriotness to you. To People with your mind-set it means nothing unless you are Greek Orthodox and eat pork souvla. If you delve deeper into the archives of the cf, you will see a photograph of my grandfather wearing a Vraka and making the Cypriot traditional desert. I say no more.

I said 'people with your mind-set' and 'unless you are Greek Cypriot'. That is not accusative. It is plural and it means all encompassing GCs. Do I have to explain everything. For all I know, you could be a Turk.
