He has made it to President in a democracy of some sort. Especially in a country like Turkey where the religious nuts do not do well. He married his cousin of 15 because it was acceptable then and probably it is acceptable now in his culture. What I think of him is immaterial. He is free to live his life within the law of the country he lives in. What do you gain by attacking another group’s culture other than reinforcing prejudice against a whole race of people?
