first cousin marriage...wtf?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Nikephorus

Just the kind of response Id expect. Read some fucking history bone head. Studies suggest cosanginous relationships were as frequent as 80% (2nd cousins or more closely related) in the recent past amongst all people.

WTF? What difference does my nationality or sexual preference have to do with the points I raised? Im not condoning the practice. The point I make is that unless its an issue in terms of resolving th conflict- WHY RAISE IT?! You just want to denegrate the other side - to what end? To prove your moral superiority?

Leftist gay:

I know you were raised from birth to think you are part of this fictional Cypriot nation, but it doesn't exist. There are Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots, and uniting them is an abomination. It would be the worst disaster since 1974 for Hellenism of Cyprus to unite with the Turkish Cypriot traitors, who will repeat the same type of betrayal and blackmail as they are accustomed to.

Moslem nations like the Turks follow Mohammed the man who ethnically cleansed, massacred and drove into slavery all Jewish and pagan tribes of Arabia. From their recent history, these unscrupulous Turks are proud followers of his example and tradition.

FYI, not that a leftist gay would care for historical facts but for anyone else:
J Durey wrote:The Church, Consanguinity and Trollope

Thus, prior to Darwin’s book in 1862 and with the exception of countries
embracing the Orthodox Church which bans consanguinity,
Christian countries
had been accustomed for six long centuries to cousins joining each other within
the yoke of marriage.

Don't think the Jews sufferd in the hands of no one else,
as much as they did in the hands of your kind, who were Christian.

You absolute fucking idiot.

Stop distorting from the issue muslim Turkish troll. The issue is that Turks are so uncouth they even marry their own family, creating in their gene pool genetic retardation in addition to the cultural and social retardation from being muslim.

11.7% consanguinity(inbreeding) in Denzili(Western Turkey).
Source:
Informa Health Care: Consanguineous marriages in Denizli, Turkey

21.1% of Turks marry their own family nationally.
Source:
Pubmed.gov: Consanguineous marriage in Turkey and its impact on fertility and mortality

In the Eastern parts of Turkey it can be as high as 30-40%. Check on your own: Google Scholar search for "Consanguineous marriage turkey".

Oh sorry. I forgot the ulitmate authority in these matter is the Greek Orthodox Church. "prior to Darwins book" Darwin married his first cousin, that how convinced he was! As for it being banned, its not illegal in half the US and in many other European countries. Like I said Im not condoning it, but I digress. Its not about cultural practices. My point is that focussing on differences is an inflammatory practice common in all conflicts. Why aggravate matters?

Nikiforos, your typical Greek Nationalist method of debating leads to NOTHING because even if you were to prove your argument beyond any reasonable doubt, what then???

So fucking what if Turks marry their first cousins, and what has that got to do with the CyProb?

And that is why you’re a WASTE OF SPACE!

Very typical of most Greek Nationalists on forums… they’re fucking useless in debate because they waste their time on STUPID ISSUES!

Leftist gay, you said why bring this up since "Studies suggest cosanginous relationships were as frequent as 80% (2nd cousins or more closely related) in the recent past amongst all people". Of course you cited nothing as a good leftist myth maker, would never let facts get in his way. Infact as I pointed out with a source, one of the most important Greek institutions, the Orthodox Church actually forbade such practices, so I don't know how the Church would have allowed the practice to reach a pandemic.

Face it you are just the ancestor of sad ass commies and socialists and your ancestors before that were proud rayah begging after the favor of Turkish effendis on their knees. This is why you are so keen to ignore differences and to rush into "solving the Cyprus problem" so you can continue your sad ass family tradition of prostating before Turks like the loser you are.

If you want to bend over infront of Turks and receive the Turkish pastirma in your colon, do it on your own, don't subject the few remaining patriotic Greek Cypriots who know that they are Greek to national suicide for the chimera of erecting some fake "Cypriot nation" that never existed, nor will ever exist.

Get Real, people are getting sick of the sorry ass Neo-Ottoman leftist gays like you banging on your keyboard for thousands of posts trying to come up with bs about a "Cypriot nation" and supporting your disgusting Communist leader whining about a Greek invasion. Eventually old dinosaur people like you are gonna get your asses kicked badly when the backlash from the failed experience of leftism hits the Greek world in earnest. You cannot hide behind using illegal immigrants and Turkish Cypriots as threatening proxy chips forever, your reckoning will come.
