Things that are great about Cyprus

In no particular order -

Climate.
Food.
Dustbinmen.
Butchers.
Cyta's level of service- Honestly !!!!
High streets not ruined by hyper mega stores and global brands.
Bakeries.
A healthy,"common sense" and pragmatic approach combined with an irreverant attitude to stupid laws,unecessary regulations and undue taxation.
90% of the population are welcoming,warm,honest,polite and tolerant - if only that were true here
Family values.
Low crime rate.
Picturesque scenery
History
Some great architecture ( not much of it built in the last 50 years though)

Personally, I love seeing lizards running up the inside walls of my house ... I don't want pictures, or ornaments -- just moving, colourful and uniquely patterned lizards.

Each one individual, yet all Cypriot!

Flowers and the profusion of flora
Pomegranates, Lemons and Figs
Quiet mountain villages
Old fishermen in old boats
Souvla cooking over real charcoal... smells like heaven
The shipwreck in Chloraka
Sunsets
Thunderstorms thst rumble on for hours
The Sea and that certain time of day when it shimmers like infinite diamonds
Large extended families - and the inevitable large extended parties
Clean\Green Monday feasts on the beach

You forgot the cops! You can park anywhere, run red lights, and basically drive anyway you like. Hell I went from Limassol to Nicosia in 25 minutes the other day. Took it a bit slow since I was in the wife's car.

forget the orange juice, just have the vodka alone. maybe with ice. though in the clubs and bars they dont put much of it.
