1. Firstly your not going to buy a 100 pound sound card for a shit piece of speakers such as the Logitech X-530 Multimedia Speakers 5.1. If you were to buy the Logitech Z-5500 THX Certified 5.1 Speaker System then yeah why not.
2. Just proved your are clueless about gamers. So you are saying this "Logitech Cordless Desktop Bluetooth MX 5500 with LASER Optical Mouse" is better than a G15 keyboard and G500. Gamers don't want wireless stuff it's slow and give's you headaches when there are too many around. Plus G15 is all about macro keys which you need in games such as World of Warcraft or any other MMORPG, strategy game.
3.That power supply is a newer model than the one you suggested, and why would you buy a 1000watt PSU for a single slot GPU 480 GTX. An 850watt corsair or lets say 750Watt one is more than enough.
4.Why would you need a network card? The Asus Rampage III Extreme which again is a newer model than the one I suggested includes 2 ethernet ports.
5. The monitor I suggested gives a higher contrast ratio.
6. Of course I did but asking for 1000 euro just to setup a PC that requires only 1 hour of setup is a lot.

I have built 4 rigs on my own took me 1 hour to put the parts together and a day on stress testing the pc for BSOD errors. At the end of the day everything worked perfect.

Only downside about building a PC is getting faulty hardware which is a pain in the butt to go through the RMA process.

Fraggie, I'm not interested in which parts you like or don't like because that wasn't the issue you started! You said I'm ripping people off so I challenged you to find the EXACT SAME parts to prove it, not alternatives or workarounds!

NOBODY can build and setup a machine like this in one hour… not even if you leave the MB, GPU, and Windows on factory settings! Image

Only downside about building a PC is getting faulty hardware which is a pain in the butt to go through the RMA process.

And the other major headache is all the different warranties which you’ll have to honor for 1..3 years! Try explaining such an event to customers if the parts came from the net!

As you can probably gather, there's a HUGE difference between building computers for fun for yourself and doing it professionally.

can I challenge on the costings?...

also i can put the hardware together in under an hr, but if you were to install XP it will take an additional 2 hrs with all the service packs...

with win 7 the task is easier as it will be under an hr to install

Boomers, installing factory Windows is a straightforward affair, but have you ever properly CONFIGURED AND FINE TUNED Windows?

I hope nobody bluffs here with a “Yes!” just to show off because I’ll test and embarrass you if you fail!

what and fine tuning is what exactly?...turning useless services ON and OFF...I would rather overclock the MB, and I have utilities from nVidia that are used for manufacturers to see how far the clock speeds can be pushed... ...not seen in public...different from the driver utilities provided...

BTW all 480GTX cards and the ones hust below are made by nVidia, the different manufacturers only play around with the fans...the pcb is always made by nVidia...look at the markings at the back of the nVidia they carry the same standards...like for example they all show the same c-tick number, N11071 and always located at the same location on every N480GTX...Same with QUADRO products, are all nVidia made with 2 main distributors, Leadtek, for Asia and Africa and PNY for US and Europe alond with ELSA for Japan...check them out...

so the only overclocking here is the MB where everyone makes their own spec...

Never the less overclocking windows I do not cinsider it a great must have...

Come on man, let me price the hardware and we will take it form there...but i am going to have an unfair advantage over you...

ie i get 1TB hard disks for AUS$65...and AUS$129 for 2 TB...and this is retail pricing...

PS...I have some killer prices for Quadro Products, and straight from the devil... ...long live quadro...

"what and fine tuning is what exactly?..."

should have read "just"

All hi end graphics cards are made by nVidia...mid to low end are made by partners, with the chipset and cct diagram given to them by nvidia...the partners play around with memory timing according to which Dram they use...every dram differs on this...

After all you’ve bragged in here, if and when you ever start a business doing custom designed PCs I guess you’ll provide the many services like…

1. Research and shop for parts
2. Assemble
3. Configure & test
4. Install onsite
5. Take customer through
6. Provide customer support
7. Do any running around for any warranty claims for the next two years

…all for FREE in the name of the Fraggie charity!

And within a few months the wife will throw you out the house when you ask her to work the pavement! Image

you got no hope getting these prices in cyprus and the prices i gave do not include GST/VAT...add your tax on top...

and no one works for free by the way...the apple phone you got how much did you pay?...coz the electronics used are worth a whole of US$50...thats how much the copies are selling and they use the same electronic componets as the iphone...but you were more than willing in bending and giving your money to apple...why is that?...

as i said apples for apples GR's price wasn't that far off the mark....when you consider running around picking parts, assembling, installing windows and testing...

end of the day you pay peanuts you get monkeys...
