Everything related to politics in Cyprus and the rest of the world.

The real shame comes from pseudo-aussies like yourself with your shrill, pathetic pro-murder cheerleading. A fat grease ball desperate to be accepted as one of the club, the immigrant epitome of "unAustralian-ness" evangelising to others about what is "unAustralian". I guess you haven't figured out that the skippies consider you to be a joke and sneer at you behind your back...but keep up the good work defending their slaughter of children and babies with fragmentation grenades!

No, I am not pro murder! They are not guilty yet, as you seem to think!

The soldiers have their story to tell from the report THEY filed which the ADF Military Prosecution Board saw fit to investigate!

And I have reasons to believe that there is little chance that they will be found guilty of Murder.

O.k. so let me get this straight. You are the citizen of a nation and a people - and no less, the member of a family - who has been subject to war crimes (illegal aggressive invasion, execution of unarmed surrendered prisoners, indiscriminate bombing of civilian targets, institutionalised mass rape), and on-going crimes against humanity (the near complete ethnic cleansing of ancestral homelands).

Not in the ADF sunshine!

No, never...

I like Chinese whispers!

When they get the facts, then come and speak to me so that we know exactly what we are dealing with here.

And generally speaking, the Australian public is very supportive to the ADF. They know full well the sacrifices made by our soldiers and their professionalism!

Did I ask what your nation of beer-swilling bogan "compatriots" thinks? I asked you what your in-laws, who've been on the receiving end, think of your opinions and shameless cheer-leading for wanton slaughter of civilians by barbarian solders...

My in laws don't have an opinion about this!

Most Australians are very skeptical as VERY LITTLE IS KNOWN!

There have been some interesting statements by the media that the soldiers have much support and I can confirm this to be true!

And one of them is the very person who had served Cyprus as a Cyprus National Guardsman, was a POW in Adana, left Cyprus as a refugee and as a very sick man without any treatment or support. Eventually came to Australia from Greece, his condition still remaining untreated, and believe me when I tell you that he was VERY sick, until I got him to (forced him) become a member of the RSL which resulted in him receiving treatment and support from former ADF War Veterans and Department of Veteran Affairs assistance and subsidies for some medical expenses and rehabilitation which is still ongoing and probably will for some time yet!

So what do you think he thinks about all this, and what do you think his impressions are about Australia, the RSL and ADF when compared to Cyprus and the CNG?

You don't want me to tell you and I don't want to be telling you! Savvy???

Since you're replying to your own post, I assume you're replying to a subtle or unstated question of your own to yourself; for certain your answer has nothing to do with any question put to you by any real-life person in this thread!

I am replying to my post because it includes important information and answers to questions that YOU posed to me, but ware omitted from my previous. So the post above was addressed primarily to you and also to GR! who may be able to identify with some of the issues and hardships refugees confronted, let alone POWs from within a Turkish Military Prison (concentration camp) in Adana!

And perhaps you may even attempt to answer my question posed to YOU!

War crimes committed in Iraq

The International Criminal Court, which opened in 2002, has jurisdiction over individuals who commit serious crimes of concern to the international community. In 2007, the chief prosecutor, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, told London's Guardian newspaper that he had no trouble envisaging a scenario in which Tony Blair — and presumably also John Howard — might one day face charges at The Hague over crimes committed in Iraq. (Australia and Britain, unlike the US, have ratified the court's statute.)
