I do believe this 'nation of animal lovers' re Brits is a myth Eric. Especially now, seeing how many ex pats are abandoning their pets here when they return home.

However, Cypriots boot dogs in the streets (and teach their kids to do the same) just for BEING DOGS not for any associated 'nationality' reasons.

They must be booting the ones you abandon to save them from the slow suffering and death.

The poisoning of pets and strays happens in Cyprus every single day. It is so simple and easy to just go and buy the poison, namely Lanate, over the counter and people then put a bit on some meat and leave it on the streets, beaches, parks for a poor stray cat or dog to eat. But it is not just the strays that pick the meat up it is people’s own pet cat or when a pet owner has been out walking their dog and it has picked the meat up and died within minutes.

and their reasons for use are sometimes quite unorthodox, thus resulting in
the poisoning of innocent dogs and other animals.

I could fill ten screens with this shite just googling 'Dog Poisoning Cyprus' brings up 188,000 results.

But if it makes you deludedly happy to think I IMAGINE it. So be it.

Like you imagining Cyprus is going to muster an army to fight the Turks.

For every dog poisoned in Cyprus there’s probably about 100 poisoned in the UK, along with 1,000 foxes killed, 500 badgers silenced, 1,000 Iraqi men, women and children, 1,000 Afghani men, women and children, and God knows what else British cruelty can manage p/dog dead in Cyprus!

YOU HAVE NO LEGS TO STAND ON!
