There is factual evidence that a US 6th fleet ship in the east Med can send a missile through any chimney of any building in a radius of 1500 miles. The US can data link its electronic intelligence from all sources including sattelites and shine any target in the same sized area. In a full out war these things matter. Can the Turkish navy threaten the USA in a similar way? Most likely not.

Would the American made weapons used by the Turkish armed forces function if used against US targets? I wonder about that. The American would never sell anyone anything that would give even a small advantage agaist their own.
