Thats ok then. That makes Greece and Turkey as bad as each other.

I said I was aware of the decline of 'Hellenism' in Turkey. I will not open the chapter on the 'Mikri Asiatiki Katastrophia'.

ok but concerning the signatures of the two countries not even close.decline wouldn't be the word to use deniz.

I only used the word 'Decline' as it was in the title of a book I once had.: 'The Decline of Hellenism in Turkey'. I think the author was a certain S. Vryonis.

I am glad you dumped it. Well done, because Hellenism will soon revive in Asia Minor (and beyond). 8)

Yes on reflection, quite right to point out that Turkey hasn't put its worthless sig to that one Boulio.

.... which gives a chance to say that the Treaties that Turkey doesn't recognise tell us a great deal about its belligerent, expansionist ambitions.

A body it pays lip service to but does not see its decisions as binding on it is the the UN's International Court of Justice.

Then we imho have to think about not just the wording of agreements, the legal meanings of agreements but the Spirit of the Agreement ... which leads us to the next Treaty under threat of being broken by Turkey...

The Ledra Palace CY Settlement Treaty of 2011 (or 2012 etc)

Can you name just one Lausanne provision which Turkey violated ? And if so, in which tribunal was this alleged violation registered and by which party ?

Let's see you justify the cover-up Turkey enacted during the devastating WWII activities that everyone was embroiled in (except the Nazi-supporting Turks).

Hey! Why are you in a hurry? You should learn to play with your victim first! A little torture provides good entertainment!

I was asking about the Treaty of Lausanne, not world war 2. In any case Turkey did not support Nazi Germany at all. (In fact Turkey, as you should know, joined the Allies against Nazi Germany, was a founding member of the United Nations, and was one of the main conduits for Jews escaping Nazi persecution across Europe).

Anyway my question still stands. Allegation ? Case ? And Court ?

Isnt the admission by a Turkish army general that in the 1960's Turkey sent in demolition teams to Cyprus in order to blow up Tc mosques a violation of the treaty of Zurich......where Tujrkey had no rights of intervention in the internal affairs of The Republic of Cyprus
