If you cared you would know. You would have to be a Turk living in Dedeagach to understand the problems/violations. Are you suggesting Greece is whiter than white. I am not good at digging up dirt but previous threads on the subject are clear.

my wife is from xanthi, and alexandroupoli which you refer to as a whole has very few muslims in the region of evros.most muslims are concetrated in komotini and xanthi.ive been there many of times and again besides the naming issue there lives seem pretty good compared to the greeks of istanbul, imvros and tenedos.Oh sorry i forgot there are barely any greeks left in turkey.

Deniz i dont want to start about the muslims of greece but the treaty of lausaune when created basically put both ethnic minorites of turkey and greece as a equation.By turkey doing what it did to the greek minority in turkey greece would have been justified to do the exact same thing to the muslims of thrace.Norm of reciprocity

they did not now there are 120,000 mnuslim greek citizens in thrace and hundreds of thousands of muslims all over greece.how many greek and christians are in turkey?

Thats ok then. That makes Greece and Turkey as bad as each other.

I said I was aware of the decline of 'Hellenism' in Turkey. I will not open the chapter on the 'Mikri Asiatiki Katastrophia'.

I only used the word 'Decline' as it was in the title of a book I once had.: 'The Decline of Hellenism in Turkey'. I think the author was a certain S. Vryonis.

I am glad you dumped it. Well done, because Hellenism will soon revive in Asia Minor (and beyond). 8)

I don't think so(red bit).

But I did not dump it. I sent it to Cyprus to educate some people who thought Turkey had been Turkish for thousands of years.
