How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Geert Wilders, whose Freedom Party is providing parliamentary support for the new coalition, is known for his highly critical attitude towards Turkey's desire to join the European Union. On Tuesday he twittered, "If the government of Islamic Turkey wants me to tell them why they must never become a member of the EU, I would be happy to come and explain."

Gul begging, to help Bagis:

Gul said Turks living in Germany should learn to speak German "for their own sakes, for the sake of their families, and so that they may be of use for their environment and society."
The Turkish president said however, both Germany and Turkey had failed to provide sufficient guidance to Turkish immigrants, many of whom went to Germany as "guest workers" in the 1960s to provide manpower for Germany industry as it was rebuilding after World War II.
"We should not blame them," he said. "Many went to German cities (from Turkish villages) without even having seen a Turkish city. Neither we nor you were able to provide the necessary leadership."

Sounds like many uneducated, difficult people are moving into EU from Turkey to receive help of EU countries.

How does Gul mean the Turks can "be of use for their environment"?

Are we seeing a repeat of the breakdown in Cypriot society, in the 60's, when TCs demanded special treatment?

Has Turkey been told that there is not a second Country in the EU family that is occupying another Country's territory and by doing so it denies its citizens their human rights?

I'm not sure whether anyone is being denied their human rights there, but how about Gibraltar and Northern Ireland?

Hi Get Real,

Well, there some good points here, and, believe or not, it reall is decision time for Turkey where I wonder what it will now do? I would say that Turkey has shot itself in the foot with entrusting the EU to handle the Cyprus problem and then using it to blackmail and delay Turkey's EU talks. I am interest to know what Turkey will now do, what do you Honestly think will now happen?
