Portugal and Spain just about to give the Mighty Euro another surge - down the toilet.

I'm a Sterling man, myself, and the pound is doing better against the Lira than it has in the past few months, thanks very much.
Shopping in the South is also cheaper again too, thanks to the Euro.

Interesting to hear what Farage said about Brussels holding the EU presidency - .. why is a small country which is on the verge of breaking up, telling 26 other countries what to do?

Could substitute Cyprus for Brussels soon.

Not at all. Turkish Lira is quite stable at the moment. It's just that most ex-pats in the North deal in sterling. There are a few here who make a quid or two out of the fluctuations bewteen TL and Pound.

1.19Euro to the Pound this morning and still sinking.
Might put off my shopping at Lidl for a few days if it keeps going like this.

Not like the almost parity last year, but nowhere near as good as the 1.40 odd, also last year.

So you were the fat git buying all the pies!
