“Turkey and its Foreign Minister continue their Goebbels policy founded on lie and false, and it’s quite surprising that a country’s FM is talking about the respect towards the territorial integration whose country has invaded Cyprus and keeps occupied 35% of its territory,” Republican Speaker Edward Sharmazanov told Panorama.am, commenting on Turkish FM Davutoglu’s speech delivered at Harvard University.

It’s worth reminding that Turkish FM stated Armenia should respect Azerbaijan’s territorial integration and that Armenian-Turkish ties would be settled only when Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict is set. Davutoglu declared as well that nobody can prove Genocide happened in 1915.
“It would be better if Turkey stopped Cyprus occupation and got busy with its domestic issues. Turkey occupied Cyprus and its brother country Azerbaijan occupied 15% of Artsakh territory, and sooner or later both of them should quit those lands,” NA Deputy said.
Republican Deputy strongly recommended Turkish FM to study the history of his country before rejecting Genocide facts and their ridiculous court decisions.
“Yet in 1919 Ottoman Empire’s high court subjected to death the organizers of Armenian massacre, including Thaleat, Jemal, Enveri and other criminals. That wasn’t an international court decision that was their local, Turkish court decision. It would be better if he got acquainted with that court decision,” E. Sharmazanov said.
According to him there’s no difference in Holocaust, Armenian Genocide and Genocide of Greeks and Assyrians. Those are shame of mankind in 20th century. NA Deputy said if once the organizers of Armenian genocide were charged, Hitler would never say in 1930 that “who ever remember about
Armenian Genocide?” and wouldn’t commit the genocide of Jewish people.
