best way to fly cyprus from spain

hi imcoming to cyprus soon i am currently in mijas in spain nearest airport malaga ive been googling etc and the cheapest way to get there is malaga gatwick paphos whicjh seems a bit silly does anyone have any better ideas its expensive to fly firect from malaga from my searches
