And be wary of third party application invites on Facebook Fig. Some are well known to deliver some nice viruses and trojans to your PC.

If you have sufficient security on your PC your browser won't let you open any 'dodgy' pages or websites. Ditto for your emails. And if you are sensible about what emails you open and what you 'click on'.

You can tighten up your security on Facebook and you can report and block any user that is sending unwanted messages to you.

A few days ago my uncles facebook got hacked because some guy form india wanted his poker chips. Told him about 20x "DO NOT REPLY TO THOSE EMAILS" and to never enter any passwords, but still managed to fall for it.

I haven't used an anti-virus for 9 months now, and my computer is totally fine. You just have to learn from where you download and what extensions you are downloading.

Now fighead just to makes thing more clear. What accounts have they stolen?

Hey man, I am in England at the moment. Everything is going fine, but I am not interested anymore into buying the iphone 4 doesn't serve me any better out of my 3GS. Seen it up close as well and it feels much bigger than 3GS. :/

Tales of the nigerian scammers getting scammed... if you have some free time, check out this site. Basically people bait nigerian scammers into scams of their own, tricking them into doing ridicullously elaborate tasks, and they do it, thinking they're gonna make millions out of it. All the e-mail history gets posted.

One guy sent a scammer ha;f-way round africa on the hunt for a hundred thousand dollars ("the road to skeleton coast") and another got a scammer to record himself reciting the whole of "hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy"

Online Stalkers.. have you heard about them.?

People who insist on adding you because they like your profile picture or they heard about you and want to be friends or more than friends even if you didnt want the same thing.

For over 3 months i get request by the same person who have a fake profile picture and a dodgy name but the weird thing is i found requests on most of my e-accounts !!

the same account keep adding me and i keep ignoring it as its up to me to be friends with who ever i want or not.

when i got fed up i sent this person whom i dont know wether its a he or a she an email asking them to stop adding me as im not ther friend i wont add them and got a very stalking message back saying if you didnt add me i will add my self ????

next thing i know is receiving hell load of messages in my primary email asking me to change my facebook password because its weak !!
the change password requests kept in coming every day then i marked it as junk as i thought someone wanna hack me , after a few days i stopped getting them,

later on i tried to log on to my email ,my main one that i get all my notifications on and i coiuldnt !

even tho im using firefox and my password is saved as no one else using my PC i kept getting a web page who looks exactly like my home page eccept they asking me to change my password as it is weak ! when i couldnt log to it i changed the password after that i couldnt log on any more!!

tried the new password and the old password but its not working!!

i even requested my account back by the secret question and to my surprise who ever hacked my account changed the secret question!!

now who ever have my account have my family, friends pictures and my own pictures even the ones i didnt dare to publish in facebook !! all my private messages from my back home friends and my sister !

its awful , someone with no rights more than being an utter twat invaded my privacy and i cant stop it ..

i straight away when i noticed i got hacked i change my setting in all my accounts to stop sending notifications on this email and informed my friends not to send me pictures or messages in this email but this is all what can i do..!!

i still lost very important stuff !! stuff that no one should see but me..!!

it wouldnt make any different to anyone !! so why do it,,?

have you been through this? how did you deal with it..!!

and my last resort is to hack it back but i dont know how!! any help..?

Hiya emma, I dont think they are hacking you or stalking you, they are simply trying to add you as friends.
They must know you because they your email etc etc to attempt to add you.
I get it on my facebook all the time, I ignore them, I mean if i ignore them, they cant do any harm and its forgotten.
Hoe you are fine, keep up the entertainment on facebook, it alweays makes me smile!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! xx
