Maria and Aydin fall in love a year ago in Famagusta . From beginning their families were against this relation ship. they fought hard to win their families hearts at the end they have done it and they are calling to others who are in same situation not to give up.

Their wedding took at Pile Turk sport club hall last night . Couple are decided to stay in Beyarmudu(Pergama-Pegamos) at north Cyprus.

it was in most of the today papers. Pictures were showing how happy were their families. holding their kids hand with great pleasure.

Congratulations especially to Maria who as a female succeeded getting aproval of her parents regarding this unusual marriage... Is there any TC girl married to a GC male? Or all mixed marriages are among TC males and GC females?

And here in Lca, I have a TC pal 'engaged' to a GC man. Both in their late 30s. They told me they worried about telling their families at first then it turned out that both sets of parents were friends and neighbours before 1974. And both are happy for them. Great news.

The blooming Turkish army keeping GCs from their homes!
