I have recently saw in news following "funny" story.

There is a tiny rocky Island in East China sea .Population is just some goats.!!Japanese call the Island Senkaku and consider same as their territory and Chinese call it Diaoyu and of course consider it theirs.

Since September 7th ,when the Japanese authorities arrrested the crew of a Chinese fishing boat near the island,one of the biggest rows in years erupted between the two countries.

Both countries regard this island as important ,as a marker for wider territorial claims in an oil-rich sea.There have been periodic flare-ups over the island before,usually involving attempts by nationalists to land on it.

The two countries agreed in 2008 to turn the East CHINA SEA INTO A "SEA OF PEACE",CO-OPERATION AND FRIENDSHIP" and exploit the fields JOINTLY . (This last i heard is a suggestion of Americans for some Aegean areas).

Conclusion: do not blaim Greeks and Turks only, there are stupids elswhere also.

The point here is who we (in Meditteranean) consider to be right in above case -the Japanese or the Chinese?-or who give a sht. The way we may feel about this case is the way others think about our problems in Aegean.

Yes i know.Cyprus was never a poblem..only its goats -some times.
