Those of us who managed the building of our houses ourselves used 4” pipes throughout and thus don’t have any toilet paper problems.

Ignorant and incompetent buyers (mainly Brits) encourage ignorant and incompetent builders/developers.

Aren't there any Local Government Departments/Councils that ensure local regulations are adhered to? Why blame the Brits/purchasers for every evil under the sun? Surely this is a sign of the 'Blame Everybody Else, We Are Innocent Syndrome'. Typical of Cypriots (all of them)

Interesting thread, a few years ago the turkish actor came out on
turk tv and stated he executed 10 Gc prisoners of war, now this general is admitting Turks burned their own mosques in order to incite violence, which falls in line with Denktash's admission of bombing Tc police stations for the same reasons.......Turkey is preparing its population for a major policy change on Cyprus, and admiting their complicity on incitement and barbarity during the 74 invasion it will cushion the blow of withdrawing its troops from
Cyprus.....These things are not coincidences by any means

Its the First I heard of ' Denktash's admission of bombing Tc police stations'. Any dates for this (or any other link)? I'd like to add this info to my catalogue of 'ffo's'.

Mate when I was growing up in Cyprus we never had loo paper , come to think of we never even had ...a loo, down a hole mate !!
Progress has indeed been made in Cyprus over the last 50 or so years , seems like yesterday !!!!

yeah i remember the hole also, up in the lemon fields thats the only choice we had, in the deep of summer walking into that loo the art of holding your nose and wiping had to be developed.....
