Have found this from another Wiki source:

"Motherland Party era
On May 20, 1983 he [Özal] founded the Motherland Party (Turkish: Anavatan Partisi) and became its leader. His party won the elections and he formed the government to become the 19th Prime minister on December 13, 1983. In 1987 he again became prime minister after winning elections.[4]
[edit]Assassination attempt
On June 18, 1988 he survived an assassination attempt during the party congress. One bullet wounded his finger while another bullet missed his head. The assassin, Kartal Demirağ, was captured and sentenced to life in prison but pardoned by Özal in 1992.[5]
Demirağ was allegedly a Counter-Guerrilla, contracted by its hawkish leader, General Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu. Two months later, Yirmibeşoğlu became the secretary general of the National Security Council. During Yirmibeşoğlu's tenure as secretary general, Özal heard about the allegations of Yirmibeşoğlu's role in the affair and forced him into retirement."

Your link states that he was appointed to Cyprus before 1964. In 1974 he was head of the 'Special War Office' and known for his responsibility at handling the organisation of the civil resistance movement. It does not mention whether he was in Cyprus during 1974. The biography is short and ends with his dismissal (retirement) by the then pres. T. Ozal.
The rest is about his career in NATO etc and his term of appointment on the eastern front. Nothing else is mentioned re: Cyprus.
Isnt he on trial now?

KKTC Tarım Bakanı Töre: Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu Saçmalıyor
Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti Tarım ve Doğal Kaynaklar Bakanı Zorlu Töre, Emekli Paşa Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu'nun '1974 Barış Harekâtı Sırasında Cami Bile Bombaladık' Sözlerini Değerlendirerek, "O General Saçmalıyor" Dedi.

The northern Agricultural minister says,'KKTC Tarım Bakanı Töre: Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu Saçmalıyor

He said this in response to the allegation he made regarding the 'bombing of a mosque'.

So the answer to your question is ,No, they do not honour him. He even criticised the general for making such a statement. The TC minister was attending a wedding in Turkey and the question was posed by journalists who had asked for his response.

Dionysiou in POLITIS today writes about this issue. He presses home that some people within the GC community are only interested to show that only Turkey behaved as a provocateur and never allowed Cyprus to exist as an independent state. However, our history needs to be re written according to Dionysiou (a history teacher himself) because much of the truth is hidden, because, regarding this issue, not only Turkey but equally as much, we undermined the RoC. He lists the following points:

1. Makarios himself called the London-Zurich agreements a stepping stone towards the union of Cyprus with Greece.
2. In 1963 we wanted to change 13 points of the Constitution in favour of the GC's.
3. In 1964, Greek army officer who later led the coup in Greece, secretly and illegally brought arms to Cyprus in order to arm paramilitarists according to Akritas plan.
4. In the next years we stubbornly rejected the calls of moderate TC's to return to the government (see Klerides interview tomorrow at CyBC).
On November 15 1967 at Kophinou, a GC policeman, acting on orders of Makarios's government, set up a machine gun position and started firing at passing GC cars on their way to Limassol or Nicosia. The TC's got the blame for the firing and Grivas went in ...

These truths have been kept out of bounds from the GC's and thus, since the TC's and Turkey are always the bad guys, we can never trust them that they will honour their signature if we reach a solution. Thus, it is better if we live separately and wait for the right moment to throw them to the sea, when the balance of power changes, suckers!
