Its quite ironic that those that have a taste for blood in this region, live safely thousands of miles away

Americans no longer support Israel in the numbers they did, and there are a lot who are angry at Israels treatment of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. The US,s taxpayers are sick of Israel leeching off them.

A quote which I agree with...

"Personally I'm against those on either side that kill innocents, be they Israeli or Palestinian, and those that support them with words, with deeds, or by turning their head away from what is happening (be it for religious beliefs, political motives, or through indifference)".

UN experts have determined that the Israeli raid on a so-called peace flotilla was overly violent and totally illegal.
UN experts have determined that the Israeli raid on a so-called peace flotilla was overly violent and totally illegal.

The Human Rights Council has said Israel's military response to the Gaza aid sail was "disproportionate and brutal," violating international law.

The special UN panel said there was now clear evidence to support prosecutions against Israel for wilful killing and torture.

In its scathing report, the panel rejected an argument by Israel that activists on the aid ship had turned violent, thereby justifying the actions of Israeli soldiers when they opened fire.

The UN Human Rights Council panel said Israel's military had used unnecessary violence to commit grave violations of human rights law and international humanitarian law.

It said that the Israeli shootings were "consistent with summary execution."

A 56-page document released by the UN says that Israel's naval blockade of the Palestinian territory was also unlawful because of the humanitarian crisis there.

When I heard this on the news this morning, why was I not surprised. I'd like to see Bafidis eating humble pie...........nah, I changed my mind. He can go kosher if he wants to. I hope the Rabbi makes a clean cut.

Quite how they think that the world was going to listen anymore to their reasoning of events once THEY investigated themselves, God only knows.

But they are right about one thing this is how they always act.

Their blatant disregard for other nations is imo going to be the start of another war in the future, with Israel thats almost certain.

Good!

That's exactly what the region needs!

Let's have this war between Israel, Iran, and Islamic Turkey (???)!

This is exactly what wee Cyprus needs!

I hope the Israelis really fuck Turkiye ten times over!

You are right Bananiot. These people are best suited for computer games.

Warfare is just that for them. A game.

And you...do you not live safely thousands of miles away from the RoC? It doesn't matter as i believe Paph would be the first to come to Cyprus and position himself right on the front line if the need occurred. Paph simply wants the occupation in the north of his country to end. The Turk has repeatedly told us that they will never retreat by pen what they won by bayonet:

http://www.cyprus-forum.com/viewtopic.p ... c7cea55938

I for one, hope negotiations are successful but i highly doubt there will ever be peace via negotiations. I mean, why would a Turk give up the "trnc"...masters of their own domain. War is certainly not the answer, but it was in 1974! Now there is "peace" they tell us and that blood spilled in 74 is now all but forgotten. How dare GC refugees want their homes back now? Wow, we truly are some blood thirsty bastards bla bla bla blaaa.

Some of the refugees had no option but to move "safely thousands of miles away".

I have seen things such as this in real life and I will tell you exactly what Australia tells the UN or Amnesty International when they stick their noses in where it isn't wanted! I will tell you to go to hell. What happens now?
