Zodhia ey? my parents best friends are refugees from Zodhia. They were ousted out at the guns of Turks. But a happy story there the TC's living in their home saved their wedding pictures and gave them to them when they were in Cyprus an went to see their home.

The unfairness of war ........

Who do you side with if you feel in danger? those that can protect you or those that threaten you?

yes VP you sided with those that have helped you .... however the question 50 years later should be do we want unification and how we're gonna get there. To achieve the points you raised in a different post about people living where they choose too.

This chicken and the egg thing has gone on for way too long. People mostly affected by this are members of your community.

The issues as I see it:
* economically embargoed by choice
*poorer living standards than the other free areas of the country
*internationally isolated
*large immigration out of Cyprus for a better freer life
*overtaken by settlers (depends who you talk too that can be a problem/ or not)

All this is still preferred to joining the south today doesnt that tell you anything? without a solution that protects our rights and does not allow domination there will be no settlement, do you understand?

Can any one name one single clash between GCs and TCs in the Morfou and Zodhia areas at any time in the past?

NO! There were no clashes in this area, not in the 50s, not in 1963 not in 1974. So why were the people of Morfou and Zodhia expelled from their homes and lands?

As the OP says, all the money for this from the EU...

From http://ec.europa.eu/cyprus/news/press_r ... hou_en.htm

Construction works to replace drinking water pipes, lay the sewerage networks and build the waste water treatment plant has started. An EU-financed €13.4 million project to build a sewerage network and wastewater treatment plant, as well as replace obsolete drinking water pipes, has recently started in Morphou / Güzelyurt. It is the largest public sector investment in the town for many years and as well as improving the quality of life for residents, it will significantly reduce contamination of the local aquifer from septic tanks. The ground breaking ceremony was held in Morphou / Güzelyurt on Wednesday, 22 September at the network contractor’s compound to the west of the main road bridge leading to Kyrenia, on the north bank of the river.

You just appeared in the Island by a missuderstanding. You (Ottomans) got out of Balkans you got out of Greece and you realised it and accept it. They forgot to explain to you that you was also out of Cyprus and you had no interests or reason to deal with this Island. It was their (int community ommission to tell you) and therefore you appeared again.

Believe me is not a serious problem for you to realise your mistake- just some more time.

We are keeping this land for thousands years- personally i do not consider you as a threat of our owneship of the Island-all foreigners finally fked up.I am only afraid "the neocypriots" -you know internal threat is always much more dangerous....
