Never mind the blackcaps…

The Cyprus Mail is deeply concerned about thousands of blackcaps being hunted in Cyprus, but hasn’t the slightest care for the MILLIONS of ArabCaps and MuslimCaps being slaughtered in Iraq and Afghanistan by American and British hunters!

http://www.cyprus-mail.com/cyprus/bird- ... ment-34043

Apparently, everyone in the UK from the local postman to politicians, the prime minister, and the queen herself are known to have an insatiable appetite for the tasty Asian morsels! :?

Trivia: ArabCaps and MuslimCaps are two very special breeds of bird that have no beak, no feathers, have arms and legs, and do not lay eggs or chirp!

Killing birds in this primitive way is wrong!! Here is the modern way to do it.

These "activists" claim that they saw limesticks being set in the spring. But the funny thing is that in the spring the birds have no fat on them and are not regarded as edible. The classic time I remember for them was in the last week in September and first week of October when they are nice and fat.

Seems that high tech methods are being used by poachers, one of them broke a video camera on an "activists" head, now that is high tech !

I know someone who imports them to Australia!

They are absolutely delicious and quite inexpensive considering!

Go well with some Scotch or Koniak....

I wonder why these activists don't bother at all with the snails. Thousands are captured and thrown in hot boiling water alive. Now if that's not cruel, I don't know what is. :)
