Too many sick Turkish people in Cyprus.

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Is it more difficult than being offered a [useless] "trnc" one or a "temporary" Turkish one?

Yes it definitely is.

Check your Nazi citizenship laws.

If that was the simple case, then your leaders would not have had to issue deterrents like this one.

"Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash has forbidden Turkish Cypriots from applying for Cypriot passports and has been quoted in the north calling on Turkish Cypriots who had Cyprus passports to give them up, warning they would end up "at a loss" if they did not."

He is not anybodies leader anymore, not sure why you keep bringing it up.

Its not as if anyone really gives a toss about what Denktaş says.

Are you kidding me?

That ass flower needs a LOT more than some cheesy "suggestive questions" to put me somewhere.

Just look at her conclusion about the couple that were attacked in the South for no reason. She is an idiot for not seeing that this kind of behavior was exactly what got us into this mess, and I am glad her true colors showed this soon. (not that I did not see it come, I can smell them from the other side  )

Shut up Shah! I recall very clearly the "TRNC" puppets warning and threatening people to not recognize the RoC via applications for passports and IDs.

We don't even need a credible link here… our memory will suffice!

Your bias memory would be the least credible link GR.

I do not know 1 TC who even mentioned any possibility of threats.

So either prove it or shut the fuck up and take that ass flower with you on your way out.

How genuine are Turkish Cypriot claims that they are in fear of their safety if they slither over the border to bludge free healthcare? You cannot hide behind your finger.

Denktash and Talat in passport row

By Staff Reporter
Published on September 26, 2004

A ROW has erupted between Turkish Cypriot leader Rauf Denktash and ‘Prime Minister’ Mehmet Ali Talat after the latter called on the veteran leader to apologise for his about-face on the issue of obtaining Cyprus Republic passports.

The row erupted after Denktash encouraged his grandson to obtain a passport in the south after years of branding other Turkish Cypriots who did the same as traitors.

Talat said on Friday that Denktash ought now to apologise to the Turkish Cypriot people.
Speaking on BAYRAK radio yesterday Denktash said April 24 referendum on the Annan plan, which was rejected by Greek Cypriots but accepted by Turkish Cypriots, had changed the situation.

He said Turkish Cypriots had the right to become European Union citizens by obtaining passports from the south of the island and that it was their right to do so having lost out on the opportunity for membership as a result of the Greek Cypriot ‘no’.

He also said that in the past Greek Cypriots had used the situation for propaganda purposes.

Denktash then said that Talat should be the one to apologise to the Turkish Cypriot people for saying the “TRNC” was not seeking international recognition.

I am not Australian and I'm not 100% sure of some of the slang, but is it possible to bludge something that is free?

Words mean nothing buddy.

He can call anyone whatever he likes, bottom line is, no one was "threatened" and everyone who wished to get the passport got it without any fear, which is what I claimed.

This entire image of the TC's being "scared" to express themselves, foreigners and ignorant GC's have, is absolutely ridiculous.

So I think GR owes me an apology for being adamantly ignorant as usual.

B25, you are just a sorry bastard so you don't have to apologize, I expect you to talk in the way you do, you have no other choice, poor sod.

My memory of Denktash's warning at that time was that something like up to a five year prison sentence could be imposed on any Turkish Cypriot being in possession of an ROC passport.
