'Change of the Constitution' in Turkey

Postby denizaksulu » Sun Sep 12, 2010 12:46 pm

Will Turkey succeed in an early entry into the EU if it manages to change its constitution to suit the EU beaurocrats?

I don't think so!

Turkey is fucked unless they withdraw for Cyprus! and now, the Israelis and AIPAC are on our side.

Forget it.....

I shouldn't really be bothered, but would it not suit the RoC? Turkeys hand might be forced to withdraw its troops from Cyprus etc.

You can answer your own question by answering this...

Why has Turkey’s EU accession come to a complete standstill?

Clue: Nothing to do with her constitution.

They can withdraw first, and I am certain the RoC will not take it any further than!

The article cites that the changes made were at the request of the EU. Perhaps that was the reason for the 'stalling' of the process.
On the other hand it may be another case of 'changing the goal-posts'. ( Iremembered the prison reforms carried out to appease the EU among others.)

I don't think so!

The Constitution is only one part of the problem.

Cyprus is another significant obstacle, which will prevent the closure of all chapters and the opening of another 8!

No solution, then no EU for Turkey!

I must make a habit of reading small prints.

EU is scared shitless of Turkeys admission (Islamophobia) Idiots.

Nope! Sparrow-head still doesn't get it.... let's see if other Ottoman remnants understand what is going on in the real world.
