No it isn't very recent and I must add that USA's plans aren't recent as well!! These plans were made several decades ago and put in action, now if a country in balkans and middle east don't agree with something which involves USA, you realize that there is either a total change of government or riots by public.Provocation done by powerful countries in the World. My dads whole family comes from the southeast of Turkey and him and his family says they lived like brothers in their cities, had no problems. But after USA implemented communism as a huge threat, and there was a riot in Turkey between the right and the left wing until the Army went in and took out the government in 1980.It was mainly after that there was a enemy look against the Kurds, in addition PKK was supported by USA and made up by Kurds, that is also a reason for the Turkish public to look negative to the Kurds. But this is only the case in Turkey, think about other countries, the problem is massive as its plan!!

Turkey, this notion of the USA supporting the PKK as early as the 1980'ies is an absurd conspiracy theory my friend.
American support for Kurds began with the present Gulf war. America does not support the PKK but is working closely with the Kurds of northern Iraq.

It is an extremely difficult situation for both Turkey and the USA. The Turks are warned not to enter northern Iraq in pursuit of PKK rebels because it may upset the non PKK kurds. On the other hand there is an estimated 150 PKK leaders hiding in the mountains of northern Iraq, WWW.turkishdailynews.com (opinion section, 7 august,05) that need to be flushed out.

I believe the US, Turkey and Iraq are going to be meeting in Washington on Wednesday to address the rising violence perpetrated by the PKK in recent months.

Well 2fan maybe 150 leaders but 4000 terrorists in total. However it is obvious that US is supporting PKK, when did US hold its promises about PKK when it said the leaders should be caught or we will get them out of here??Several weeks ago it was said that the CIA agents were even talking to PKK leaders!!What more do you need to believe that USA is supporting PKK??
