(... and it is an embroidery and not a tapestry by the way)

The French have been asked a couple of times for a loan of this, one of the most important symbols in English History and they have refused the requests.

Well it's a bit rich that this iconic, world famous record of this defining moment of English history is reduced to a tourist attraction in some backwater of a provincial French town.

It's about time it came home .... to the Brit Museum.
