I can't believe you kept a straight face whilst typing the above.

How is it a beacon?

If they worked on their English (rather essential for a paper, don't you think?) they would be halfway acceptable. But, their shoddiness towards accuracy of expression is only matched by their disregard for proper sourcing and unbiased analysis.
