One of the many reasons Cyprus today is under occupation is this dialect which created huge confusion to the population.
It would be much better such dictionary to not exist and our scholls down there to insist and demand only the correct language to be used.
Firstly this must be a "must" for someone to became a minister - Minister without speaking fluetly the correct language must be prohibited-same must be apply to journalists.

If this problem between written and verbal language was not there, then we (G/cs ) would never confused our Ethnicity with stupiness of Greek Junta and its supporters in the Island as well as with the stupiness of the Cyprus Ethnos!!!.

:? :?

Yes I know..You can not accept the fact that this Island was and it is populated by Greeks in majority. Yes I know that you consider that Turkey having abt 100000 Ottomans shelters in the Island has the right to intervene and demand control but Greece with almoast 1 million Greks in the Island must shut up.Do not worry -Greek politicians (during last 15 years )are following your demand. Therefore remain calm.

I accept more than you give credit for. My emotikons are a sign of confusion. As usual, I have trouble understanding your command of the English language.

Sly!

You understand more than you admit.

Sometimes, it serves your purpose ....

What is my purpose Oracle? Are you sure you know it?

Taksim!

Hade reh sen da   NEVER!!!

My dear fig head,

I was born in Famagusta, speak native Cypriot dialect (Greek of course) but when I visit Paphos, I can hardly understand what the heck they are talking about.... that's how bad the Paphos version is!!!
