What are you saying?

considering that Greece won the Eurobasket twice and Turkey is yet to win any major competition I'd stop talking now before I bring up the stats of the last decade of matches between Greece and Turkey.

Actually Turkey became European champion in football and 3rd in the world, thats a lot closer than Greece ever got, and now they are 2nd in the world in basketball, what you on about matey?

This is just football and basketball too...

So go ahead and bring them up.

How many 1st places for Turkey?

Hint: Nil!

Obviusly you are clueless.

Galatasaray was European champion. They held gold medals for weight lifting and wrestling for many years over and over.

They even got a gold medal for the best quartet music on an international competition in the US this year, Borusan orchestra got it.

This is only what I can think of from the top of my head.

So what about Greece?

Quartet music? What else? Backgammon and bilotta?

Have you lost your marbles matey?

Don't forget about Turkey winning the Eurovision "no talent" Song Contest, Shah.!

Looks like Kurupetos also thinks that a "quartet" is something along those lines, since he is comparing it with backgammon

Was the Referendum all for nothing?

“As long as Turkey does not accept that Cyprus is a member of the EU, there will not be any progress on this protocol for Ankara,” said Austrian Foreign Minister Michael Spindelegger.

Of course not, Erdoğan got his ideology a step closer to the core of the Turkish system, they have one less obstacle, a big one too.

The same people who always opposed "democracy" has used democracy to get their undemocratic ways in power. It is truly tragic.

Obviously Turkey cares less about the EU then you like to believe, or she would have "given up" on Cyprus a long time a go.

Turkey will eventually fallout completely with both the US and the EU, thereby triggering the enforcement of decades old international law in favor of Cyprus, but what is frustrating about this is all the time wasting and delays before we get there!

Religious prejudice (Christians Vs Muslims) combined with Erdogan’s ever growing sense of self-importance will ensure that! Here’s hoping that Erdogan’s newfound powers will speedup the inevitable process.

Galatasaray aren't Turkey are they?

Who cares about 3rd place, Greece have won a major trophy. Offer any European football nation either European champions or a semi-final place at the World Cup and they would pick the European title every time. It's a much bigger achievement than reaching a semi-final at a tournament where many weaker nations play, and if you knew anything about football you would know this. The third place play-off itself is nothing but a meaningless game.
