Simerini today reported that Christofias has actually proposed a ceiling on the size of property that can be returned, along with several other restrictions.

Adoulouti Kerynia and other refugee groups have called for the Attorney General to immediately intervene and stop him as what he is doing brutally violates the constitution, EU law and refugee's rights - he has absolutely no authority to negotiate individuals' property rights in their absence. His actions have been characterised as the "Third Attila".

I really hope that, given that the AG has proven he is just a paid gun for the government (e.g. he did nothing when indisputable proof of criminal "rousfeti" activity surfaced), an affected property owner actually takes this case to court.

tony i would rather see a negotiated partition with the 82-18% split and the g/c who lose property in the north to be compensated with property in the 82% either t/c land or church land.and call it a day.

That's handy, so a few years after you 'Done a Runner' from Cyprus (because the introduction of National Service was about to occur) and all the youth would be required to serve their country (except those who 'Scarpered') you decided to purchase property here, in the land you NOW say you love so well.

I don't suppose you lived in it long enough to qualify for conscription though, you must have laid awake sweating whenever you visited Cyprus, watching the calendar in case you overstayed a day or two.

So, even at the tender age of fifteen years, you had already developed a strong sense of 'Self- Preservation' and decided to join the side which seemed to be the stronger (at the time) opting for the 'Bosom' of mother UK for protection from the horrors of 'Gunsmoke'.

With a C.V. like yours mate, 'I' would be inclined to steer clear of Cyprus, you might one day come face to face with 'Gitanes' (a hero of YOUR time) who now hobbles on sticks as a result of his injuries but remembers a young skinny 'Skata Savva' who ran like a rabbit before many shots were fired.

Strangely enough, 'Skata Savva' was a local from around your part of the island all those years ago, I wonder if YOU knew him ?.

why do you think you will get what you haave now?doubtfull 18-20% will be agreed.comprimise it may be a foreign world to the turkish language but you should start to learn it.Do you think the albanians of kosovo want to give up the north?they wanted presevo valley included in the new kosovo as well.but for them to get there recognition they will comprimise.Face it the only way kosovo gains full recognition from everyone(un,eu)is with serbias consent.THe Same unfortunatley for you implies in "trnc"case for recognition.
