People who say "I have a sense of humour" are humourless themselves, it is for others to decide that you have a "silly sense of humour". But do you mean silly as in funny, or silly as in stupid?

Reminds me of Asil Nadir's parrots - he has two - one called Polly, the other called Peck (and he's fishy to boot).
