You have burnt all your bridges here and now you MUST return to your roots.

There is no other way…

Exactly Get Real - A Dominated and majority populated Turkish Cyprus. Continue denying our "Turkish Cypriot State" and you will in the future wake up to a United Federal Cyprus Republic with a very fast growing Turkish (future EU member) Migration. The Greek Cypriots have destroyed any logic of the Cyprus issue with their shear lack of foresight.

I am all for you having an Ottoman state/enclave but not on Cyprus! For starters Cyprus is too small, second it belongs to my 10,000 year old ancestors so I don’t have the right to gift it to anyone, and finally where better than Turkey where there is plenty of land and it IS your country of origin. Makes perfect sense!

You cannot be this stupid, the man is telling you how it is and you still continue to busy your head in the sand, the populaiton in the north is going nowhere better start to let that sink in or else you will always be stupid.

Because his "argument" was based on the assumption that Turkey will join the EU... now how the hell Turkey is going to get past Cyprus to do that is beyond me! Image

Look Turkey is fast becoming very influential in the area add to this USA support and you have your answer. Little ol South Cyprus cannot stand up to the bigboys, try and see the TRNC recognized over night I dare you.

We've been through all that many times in the past and you’ve been proven wrong on every single count!

Direct flights
Direct trade
Recognition
Annexation

Have I left anything else out?

You’ve been telling us that Turkey can do miracles for years now but we haven’t seen any! Thus far... “Little old Cyprus” is still the only recognized entity of the island, the “TRNC” is still an illegally occupied territory, and the “Turkish Cypriots” are, err… now almost non existent!

Haven't you learned anything?

All in good time we are in no rush, you thought you had it sealed in 1974 and look what happened there, when Turkey slaps she slaps hard.

Cyprus NEVER forgets!

So I’m sure you’ll understand why she’s been stockpiling in a maniacal frenzy and why you should never ask her to cease doing so… to avoid disappointment!

It’s that very fear of that “inevitable” that spurs us to prepare for Armageddon while what’s left of your community will be sitting in the middle…

this is a method used by many invading ,,,,, liberating ,,,,, countries, call it what you want,to distroy the local identity , it has been done in some baltic countries , it is still happening I believe in the uk with the wales, were the media only speak oxford english, and any one speaking wales is made to feel like a backward peasant, and the same is happening here, the media have taken off air many tc broadcasters because they do not speak perfect turkish , the turkish cyp has already lost his id ,which is a shame , but many would prefer that than the alternative,

Firstly - "Invading" is not really a good word to use when Talking about Turkey's Guarantor rights, particularly those that were legally exercised after the 15th July 1974 Coup by Greek invading forces and their massacre campaign. Read the newspapers of the time. I agree that the second campaign was SEEN as an invasion by the international media, but the Turkish Cypriots and Turkey by then had lost all confidence in a united republic without borders and states - and, do you blame them after the finding of so many mass graves of women and children?

Here's what I said in another post that may be relevant to the above:
A bit like the "AMERICANS" and the American Indian affair! Those homes and lands no longer belong to those GCs, just like the Larnaca Airport area no longer belongs to its original Turkish Cypriot owner! - a bit like how the Jews were paid off after WWII by the German government, Montenegro and Serbia and many other thousands of similar cases around the world. Thus, rather than chant how "Thick" someone is, perhaps you should realise how the EU has RECOGNISED the Immovable Property Commission in the TRNC. The days of GCs so called returning to the North is a thing of the past, an option that was removed after 35 years of time-wasting in refusing a Confederal plan. The Annan Plan was the last straw my young friend.

Good luck in your road to realisation.
