Once again this action needs to be addressed at the UN and Brussels to show that Turkey and TC leadership and indeed the community that voted them in are supporting segration and ethnic cleansing without the intend of unification based on democratic principles. Listen mate, AD is a typical Aussie and does not identify with hysterical nationalism to the point of littering the countryside with busts or shooting unarmed civilians just because they attempt to desecrate a stupid flag etc....

If you could ask him, he would probably tell you his thoughts, but there is fuck all he can do about it!

Furthermore, when I went to Kythrea in 2004, there was already a bust of Attaturk! This is my partner's village! Her family own property there!

Then clearly you must be thick !!! If the Kiythrean people are denied access to their homes and lands as a result of the continued Turkish occupation what else apart from occupied Kythrea can one call it, or did the Turkish Army bring it along in 1974 !!
Do please remember that the UN , the EU and every other international forum refers to the northern part of Cyprus as being under Turkish occupation didn't you know !!

It is another show off by the nationalist and I hate you GC's when you put TC's in the same scale.
There are plenty of TC's living in the north who does not want to see anymore status ,however, it seems you GC's like to have all those eoka criminals statues all over the place.
I think Cyprus will be divided in to three parts: One big part for GC's and TC's who wants to live forever in peace;
One piece for racist GC's and one piece for racist TC's. Those racist parts divided with guns and barb wires so you can make anything you want and enterace to peaceful side will be banned forever.

I agree with you , - apart from your statement on EOKA -but I would add that those Cypriots who are first Greeks or Turks should consider pissing off from Cyprus and join their respective motherlands.

I am not saying they are Denied ACCESS.....merely that those homes and lands no longer belong to those GCs, just like the Larnaca Airport area no longer belongs to it's original Turkish Cypriot owner! - a bit like how the Jews were paid off after WWII by the German government, Montenegro and Serbia and many other thousands of similar cases around the world. Thus, rather than chant how "Thick" someone is, perhaps you should realise how the EU has RECOGNISED the Immovable Property Commission in the TRNC. The days of GCs so called returning to the North is a thing of the past, an option that was removed after 35 years of time-wasting in refusing a Confederal plan. The Annan Plan was the last straw my young friend.
