The usual rubbish claim from the usual source. Several members of my extended family were signed up active members of British political parties, the wife of one of them even stood for Parliament in a general election in the 1990s. (she lost)

Are you Cypriot Jerry?

And now a stupid question from the usual source. Oh no, I forgot, British Cypriots don't count. Only those born on the island are entitled to express their opinions about Cyprus according to GR - a right proper Charlie

What the hell is a "British Cypriot"???

Is he a Cypriot who went to the UK in the 50s...80s and NEVER got involved in their politics?

Idiot!

It's not that difficult GR, I use the term "a British Cypriot" to describe those you refer to in your post as "hundreds of thousands of Cypriots went to the UK"

British Born Cypriots = BBCs - that's what they call them in the UK.

Charlies = Cypriots who left Cyprus and went to live in the UK.

Isn't this forum membership mainly comprised of the above two groups?

Of course we are all 'EU Citizens' now! Just that some of us behave like we are and others don't!

Here's hoping you'll explain how this great European cast should behave...

...without getting your knickers in a twist!

I don't get my knickers in a twist GR! If using this or any other forum left me feeling the you make it sound like it leaves you - I would take the old advice 'if it hurts when you do that ... don't do it!'

It doesn't get me insulting people's wives, mothers and sisters, or telling them to take a hike or casting aspersions on their sexual persuasion, their law abidingness or any of that stuff.

But bullies like you don't put me off posting either. Haven't you ever thought what a complete waste of typing it is to keep telling anonymous posters in cyber space to take a hike (but in more unpleasant terms)?

Maybe you consider that if you get one result every few years with admin banning one person you hounded you think it's worth it?

You should think more about your blood pressure! And what resentment and stress does to your health!

I am smiling broadly as I type this. You could be a 14 yr old schoolgirl typing from her bedroom where she is supposed to be getting on with her homework for all I know.

Just think about some of the outright and outrageous lies that have been told about me on here! All by people who have never met me, don't know anything about me.

It really does bemuse me to see just how excited and upset some of you get about all this.

If all you want to read on a forum is your own views and those of your small fan club - why not start up a Yahoo Group and only let those people in?

Of course if you brushed up your web skills a bit you could start up your whole new FORUM! (I wouldn't apply to join)

That's a stupid remark really, i'm sure the people who are unhappy would leave in the blink of an eye if they could find a buyer for their home. Especially with no title deeds.

Personally I find Cyprus boring as hell after 2 weeks with so little to do but if EU citizens choose to make it their home then they have every right to expect the law to be upheld.

I don't know why much further needs to be said about the plight of so many victims of such a corrupt society.

The pathetically childish comments being thrown back and forth needs to be seen to be believed. I don't think I've ever seen such idiotic behaviour from so many people in one place. Is this forum a particular magnet for those that lack debating skills or those that fail to be able to assimilate what's in front of them that they need to revert to this sort of behaviour?
