i wouldent put 4.0.2 on the iphone 3g it sucks it will lag so badly... my brother has the 3g and the iphone 4 and on the 3g it is very bad, dont do it.. plus iphone 4.1 firmware is going to be released next week with a new itunes 0 that has been released, i would not put 4.XX on the 3g

Def agree with Palio, don't put 4.0 or 4.1 on the 3g, it slows it down.

... and don't put 4.1 on any iphone cos the jailbreak and unlock hacks aren't yet available, stick with 4.0 for now.

Installous is good, put it on last week.

well the dev team found a hardware level jailbreak that apple wont be able to fix with a firmware update only by a new hardware release willl they fix it. but it has yet to be released.

For those who aren't familiar with it, Installous is an app you can put on jail-broken Iphones which lets you download any app that features in Apple App Store for zero spondoolics.

Reh Palio file..... sold my 3g to a CY chap and promised to put some CY/GR apps on it for him... what would you suggest??? Any sat nav/maps available for instance???????

TomTom you can download is ok, you can download files from torrent and using appsync install them with itunes, thats a good app.

Yes... thought I'd put TomTom on it for him... normally a 40GB£ app which on Installous will cost .... let me work it out..... where's the calculator?.... erm.... oh.......... nothing!...... ...(well these are hard times)

europe tomtom i think costs 80. what i would do it just scroll through app store and anything iw ould lik ei would then find in installous lol
