By the way, I wont care how many year you lived there, because we lived there 500 year.

not too good with history are we?

heres a question for you?:

what ethnicities formed the majority in Constantinople circa 1900? Heres a hint: it wasnt the Turks but mostly greeks and quite a few of jews.

like in the modern day greek city of Salonika, the majority of the people living there were not greek but rather bulgaria.

and likewise, there were very few Turks in the Athenian region.

Fact is, Cyprus for thousands of years is an unquestionably dominantly Greek settlement and I don't have to answer to anyone for pointing it out or discussing it. :)

Magic you dont understand point, I dont care how many year greeks lived there, how many of them lived there. I dont care. Just you dont care how many years Turks lived in cyprus, how many lived there.

I dont care, we ruled athen and all greece 500 year my people lived there, I want to see Turkish culture there. Not greek culture.

If 500 year is not enough for your, 3000 year is not enough for me too.

Get out of Greece.

By the way, when Fatih conquered Istanbul, There were only 50 000 greek and they left. Fatih give them alternatives and they choose to left their city. So why do you think, most of the Istanbul was greek at 1900 is another mystic question for me.

Fact is, the government who kicked off the present problem was dominantly Greek and I don't have to answer to anyone for pointing it out or discussing it.

Couldn't it have been sorted out with diplomacy?

Since this is a discussion forum, you do have to defend 'fact' as your interpretation of history is your own. For instance, a counter claim could be that for 7,000 years before 'Greek' settlers arrived in Cyprus, the island was populated by neolithic settlers from somewhere in the Levant... therefore, for most of its history, Cyprus was not 'Greek', but part of what we now call the Middle Eastern world...

You have a point there Moose, but the concept of identity past that of tribalism only really emerged in certain areas from 2000BC onwards.

And who were the Neolithic’s? The Minoans were born or influenced from the Neolithic’s? The Minoan civilisation were found in Cyprus too, who were the first European / Greek civilisation which later led to Myceanaean, also found in Cyprus, and all throughout history Greek people were settling in Cyprus forever more, all part of Greek history :D If you want evidence try a google search. Why do you think 100% of the people spoke Greek in Cyprus before the Ottomans invaded Cyprus?
