hi i'm new to here and would like to find out a few things befor i move over to cyprus, i work in child care and wanted to know if i could get a job in a school or nursery or do private child care for other people also what are the wages like are they the same as here in Britan?

cannot comment on childcare, but in general wages in cyprus are alot less than the uk, but so is the cost of living ..

the cost of living has gone up so its the same as the uk if not more expensive. food is the same electronics is double the price. what else do you need to buy, cars are very over priced. a car in england for 3,500 in cyprus will cost over 18,000 euros

palio , mate when you live in the uk , and add up things like council tax, heating (6/7 months), and everrything indirecting, esp if you rent , trust me it is not that cheap....except for cars but petrol and insurance are cheaper in cyprus .....

maybe so but the pay is also 10 times better so you pay roughly the same not that much more, depending where in the uk you are then have so much more money to do so.. also they are much easier to get the jobs while in cyprus for simple jobs they say wow are you going to get this job. and in england this job is nothing. for example in stores like germanos. or any type of job that is considered to be low in england is wow amazing in cyprus your good
