Do not dismiss the use of 'Morse' so readily my friend, under certain conditions it is still a worthwhile code to be familiar with.

A battery can lose it's power BUT, a tap with the knuckles or a glint from a shiny object on a sunny day, could one day save lives. even your own. :wink:

The ship is called Royal Clipper, the crew were multi national and the captain was Russian. We have just returned from 10 days Venice to Rome on it. Next year it is sailing Pireus to Constantinople via Greek islands. I can thoroughly recommend it, probably the best holiday I ever had. Captain Sergey is reputed to be one of the best tall ship masters in the world - nice chap and he plays guitar well.

The unceremonious burial at sea of Carmelle Munoz has just taken place in the dead of night, the only persons in attendance were the Captain, his cabin boy, the Jewish surgeon and Rocco.

There was no service, the body was swathed in old sheets and weighted with chains and heavy lengths of cable, then dumped over the stern of the ship.

Rocco was extremely upset (naturally) and even more so when he noticed that there was evidence of much blood on the sheets that the body was swathed in, he asked for an explanation but was given none.

A particularly undeserved end to a beautiful young Lady, may Rocco find the strength to overcome his sad loss. :cry:

So, to recap the whole story. Something (we don't know what) happened to someone (we don't know who) on a ship (we don't know which one) and they threw the body in the sea. Great piece of information Schnauzer, keep it up. :)
