FREE FAMAGUSTA WITHIN A YEAR.... ON FB

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

FREE FAMAGUSTA WITHIN A YEAR.... ON FB

Postby bill cobbett » Tue Aug 31, 2010 7:42 pm

For those with an interest, a New Facebook Campaign is under way on the issue of Famagusta at...

http://www.facebook.com/FreeFamagusta

When we have discussed the matter of Varosia in recent weeks, many seem to have the view that rebuilding a Free Varosia would have great, great benefits for all CY (excluding VP et al of course).

May even be a way of making progress by breaking a 36 year-old deadlock with much further benefits.

Mate, you might have got a head of yourself with the success of Jaylo, "opening" Varosha through Facebook, is a little far fetched, don't you think?

The only thing "far fetched" for you is Democracy.

Currently I live in a democracy where I do not have to fear being constantly voted off by racist GC's.

For me, this is as good as it gets.

You on the other hand, might think that throwing fellow Cypriots out of the government with threats, might be "real democracy".

I would not find it surprising, Hitler followed the same path.

Take it you support, what is it? 30,000 40,000 or so people being kept out of their town then Shah?

Didn't take you to be another VP mate.

To you, Hitler worked towards a "democracy" by excluding groups. To you, the Apartheid in South Africa discriminating against natives, was a "democracy".

As I said, the only thing "far fetched" for you, is Democracy!

I do not support the outcome of the conflict, that does not mean I would just ignore its causes either Bill.

Plus those people are allowed to come back if they want.

In contrast, do you know how many TC's fled the island because of the GC's?

No, Hitler eliminated all opposition in his little "democratic" world, as you did once you trashed the constitution.

Apartheid is a bad example because no one is discriminating against the natives. We both have our democracies and everyone can choose to live wherever they want. Unless of course, you think that you are more "native" than I am. (and I know you do)

How is your democracy different to mine?

Reh Shah, what you on about when you say these people are allowed to come back if they want.

We saw a couple of weeks ago, the last couple who went to Varosha to visit their homes were kidnapped, hand-cuffed and thrown in to cells.

You should have gone to SpecSavers mate.
