Hello everyone,

who could arrange me a (used/new) soeasy (Vodafone) SIM card, activate it in Cyprus (if new), activate the Roaming and send it to me to Austria? I will stay there for the next few months, but still will need to be reachable on a cyprian phone number and cannot arrange this myself. (Pre-)Payment for the card and postal charges could be arranged via Paypal.

just go to a local periptero they cost very little you dont need to ask some one to sell you one everywhere sells them

Anita ! It's very easy to get a sim here! I bought one from my local kiosk ..! Was some thing silly like less than € 20!! with shit load of free messeges .

What I dont understand is why you need one!

The only thing is because how cheap it is here but you aren't here so where ever you are gonna use it wouldn't be cheap, you will be charged the full service + full fee for the host network .. So not worth it..!!


So.. Realisticly for you to get a Cypriot sim for what ever you want it for you need some one to ship it to you..!

Ask someone to send it to you ...

maybe she needs to communicate with some cypriots and it would be easier with a cypriot number... but it will be very costly to do that, its easier just to wait to come to cyprus and use it there

when you compare it to england it is not, in england they hand them out FREE :S last time i came they gave me one o2 one vodafone one orange and another 3 all for free and by wondering around the town also in cyprus there is no decent 3g connection we have nothing in technology its all 500 years old. by the time we offer good price for a sim card or other items like this it will be in 500 years. there is less then 1 million people they have to make money and charge more
