The ludicrous notion that somehow the ENTIRE world is wrong in recognizing A the RoC and B that Turkey occupies the northern part of Cyprus can not possibly be considered as anything other than ... a load of rubbish. Here we have Turkey in contravention of all International legalities not only occupying a part of Cyprus but a part of Europe too , a nation that invaded and viciously begun the process of altering the demographics of this island by the importation of undesirable even to the T/Cs large number of Anatolian peasants , or to use the phrase I have often heard T/Cs use , FELLAHIES and yet we have amongst us seemingly educated T/Cs who do not recognize the RoC but the corrupt unrecognized criminals heaven created by Turkey and maintained by Turkey.
The pseudo state can never sustain itself and it is not because of embargoes , there is a huge market of 70 million readily available , but because of endemic corruption by those who know pretty well that their authority is of a temporary nature.

miltiades wrote:Perhaps Zan can tell us why he considers that the RoC warrants inverted commas , does he perhaps consider that the true ....republic is the pseudo state which NO NATION ON EARTH recognizes ? Is he in a deep dream or more likely does he live in a fools paradise.
There is nothing about the only republic universally recognized that warrants inverted commas , but there again our Zan refers to my company as a....kafenio !!! Indicative of his logical approach to things.!!!!

I think you already know the answer to the first and the second.....Your coffee shop is all the evidence you talk about and play off against hundreds of thousands of TCs who do not buy into your crap

Why you may ask?

Because agreements were abandoned, illegalities declared, and bridges permanently burnt!

They had no legal standing according to you because they refused to accept what you ordered them to accept.

was what we "ordered" them voted and applied? or they just left by orders of TMT before any discusion be made?

I’ve only managed to grow 4-5 good cucumbers this year, most go yellow and shrink for some reason when they’re about 4-5cm long!

What’s the problem??? :?

It means your blood pressure is low, quit smoking or start taking viagra.

TP, was one of those politicians who were arrested and held in custody by the junta.

Look, just go back to the orange grove... there's bound to be something they need!

Arrestment of TPap by the Junta does not make him a Choirokitian or Cypriot nationalist... It is a well known fact that there were 2 major factions in Greek Junta and TPap was the man of any of them...

It is very strange GR that you still have a big respect to this man who dedicated all of his life to his Greek brothers, the national interests of Greeks and the Hellenism... :?

In his speech to the Greek head of state, President Papadopoulos stated loyally: “We [Cyprus] do not want, nor do we seek to transfer the weight of our problems to the shoulders of Greece. But, we do want our Greek brothers to realise that we in Cyprus, as we resist Turkish expansionism and fight for the national and physical survival of Greek Hellenism, are forward defenders of Hellenism in its widest meaning and dimension.''

Actually it wasn't, they couldn't agree to very simple terms with Clerides at the time.

Simple but unconstitutional.................AGREE is the key word here....Agreements can only be made under the constitution and not an ultimatum for return
