Cyprus Turks? What sector are you in?

Postby Malapapa » Thu Aug 26, 2010 10:32 pm

According to Hurriyet there are only two sectors in the north, gambling and prostitution. It would be fascinating to find out which one of the two sectors Cyprus Turks on this forum are mostly involved in.

If you don't mind, I'd be grateful if you'd explain why you decided to go in one sector rather than the other.

Cheers! Looking forward to your responses.

Come on girls, don't be shy... it's the oldest profession in the world after all.

Again, you're being unfair on the TC's. Not one decent TC is happy with the casinos or the brothels. In fact all my relatives and close friends hate 3 thing with a passion.
1. Brothels
2. Casinos
3. Those making money from GC owned properties.
in that order.

So, since almost all these businesses are ran by mainland Turks then your question should have been directed at them.

OK. I've changed it to Cyprus Turks... although I still need convincing there's a difference.

So is your question to mainland Turks or Turkish Cypriots? Do you know how important it is to us TC's that distinguish between the 2?

Alan : the current situation from the other side of the fence is that TC's are running the show by insisting on Turkey having a major role on how the regime is run. Unfortunately the same way generalisations are made from the other side of the fence as to how the Free Areas of Cyprus is functioning we too make the same generalisations. No doubt there are TC's who are pro unification and probably wish the situation was different what we have now, is a situation where the TC community is living with brothels and casinos as their major revenue raising industry.

Wrong, totally wrong. If that was the case matters would be a lot different.
