If you haven’t been able to become Cypriot in 400 years by forgetting the crescent & the moon, who says you can or will given another 400?

Just go home to Turkey guys and stop making fools of yourselves!

GO HOME!

Who are you to decide what "Cypriotism" means?!

If a descendant of the ancient Choirokitians cannot then who can?

A Muslim Turkish boy?

You're out of touch with reality...

Dude, are you sure that's tobacco you smoke over there?

Get a grip man!

Baggieboy wrote:Halil - no it doesn't. But then again neither did my first introduction to Cyprus politics. But thanks to that introduction I now do know about all the points you raise - as will anyone who takes an interest in the issue as a result of the tour.

I know a lot more now, I know about EOKA, about TMT, about injustices on both sides. All as a result of a tourist coach trip!

I wouldn't be at all surprised if a similar tour is happening in the north too.

Look, its only a bus trip guys - To tell the whole story you'd need a round the world cruise!

What i know that tourist tours shouldn't be politic. It should be enjoyment of the Cyprus. Do u let them free go around sit and talk with local people to learn their own story than they can judge the Cyprus problem freely or just a guide tells them what writes in his propaganda book. As long as we don't guide the humans correctly and they gets one sided information we will not get any solution in Cyprus because other side will be always in defending himself position about untruth.

there is a tours from north to south but TC's goes and nothing is political because all TC's knew the truth no need to tell them. They visit their homes and villages which they left between 1963-1975 and compares past and present times.

Halil - I agree with you - absolutely. My introduction to the Cyprus issue 9 years ago was very one sided.

But that is to be expected - there are 3 sides to every story - his story, their story, and the truth! But through that introduction I learned more and have gradually started to understand each side's issues. I want to be careful here - I always pledged never to get political with Cypriots - it can come across as disrespectful.

But you see, we've been planning to move to Cyprus for 5 years now, and hope to move in 2013. I think it is only fair that I at least try to understand the issues of my new home.

Kind regards,

Richie
