And you are showing your empathy by supporting the human rights violations of 100s of thousands of innocent people, by supporting racist discriminations against the majority of Cypriots, and by supporting segregation and ethnic cleansing???

If people like you did not exist then Cyprus would have no problem today. Cypriots would be free to peacefully and democratically take decisions for their own island and there would be no conflicts and no bloodshed.

Cyprus can be united when those who want to partition it are defeated. You started a conflict and a war since 1958 in order to achieve partition, and even today you are looking for excuses to continue your crimes against Cyprus.

Piratis, you got stuck (quite conveniently) in 1958 because you think (wish) that the killings started then. Of course this is not so for the work of the nationalist fascists started earlier. This is a conversation I had with Tony a week or so ago:

Tony

Which was the FIRST intercommunal killing? Give me JUST ONE example of a TC being killed before you slaughtered the 8 GCs in Kondemenos.

Bananiot

Tony, these are known facts and have been published in many books. For example, on 23 April 1956, EOKA shot and killed Turkish Cypriot policeman Nihat Pasi in Nicosia. On 23 May 1956, EOKA killed Lisani Ahmet, in Polis. These killings, along with a third one, produced mass reaction by TC youths all over Cyprus, resulting in the burning of many GC businesses. There is no doubt that Turkish Cypriots were preparing for some sort of a showdown and probably it was no accident that at this time the leadership of TMT went to a Turkish Colonel named Hasan Taksin Ogerlat.

I have not heard of Tony since, but no doubt you will not disappear, you will write about 1958 in due course ...

OMG, I cant believe what I'm reading. And then you have the audacity to talk about racist discrimination? This attitude can only put the final nail in the coffin and result in permanent partition. Well done mate.

No Bananiot, the killings did not start in 1958. The Turks had already murdered 10s of thousands of Cypriots during their oppressive rule which had ended just 8 decades earlier.

In 1958 was when the inter-communal conflict started, not just with the massacre of the 8 GCs but also with the burning of 10s of shops and homes of innocent Greek Cypriots by Turkish Cypriots.

Until then EOKA did not target any person due to his ethnicity. They only targeted the Colonialists and those who collaborated with them, regardless of their ethnicity (+ communists). Those TC policemen you refer to were mercenaries of the British and had as an aim to kill EOKA fighters.

Partition is what you wanted since the 1950s and what you continue to want today. If it was up to you to put the final nail you would have done it long time ago.

You have no right whatsoever to take our lands, and as long as you insist on doing so you will be our enemy and you will be treated accordingly.

Cyprus can not be permanently partition because we will never gift our lands to you. When the balance of power will change our lands will be liberated either you will like it or not. And that is the only way our lands will be liberated, not with negotiations, since it became obvious from long time ago that you will accept no kind of solution unless it partitions Cyprus in two parts.

Interesting, even though I totally disagree with you (remember ENOSIS?) regarding our desire for partition I will move on and ask you this, when do you expect the balance of power to change? Are we talking about weeks, months, years or millenniums? Just a rough estimation will do give or take a millennium or two.

Don't get too excited, it can happen over night, all we need is for Turkey to piss off another one of her powerful allies and you'll soon see a change in policy.

It always comes down to Enosis with you people. Enosis came long after you lot were aiming to partition this country, Enosis died many years ago, but your own Enosis with the motherland still lives on. Duh!

With all due respect, our enosis is the result of your stupidity. We voted overwhelmingly for a united Cyprus whereas you rejected it. So please lets not distort facts.

Is that when you board a dingy and move to Turkey? Please don't let us hold you back...
