At least you have the option to live there. You didn't give the option to us, since you forced GCs out of there on gun point.

If you think it is hard to live there then you can always leave, like you forced us to do, but at least for you it is an option and nobody will steal your property if you choose to do so.

Funny how you demand to live without any problems on your ancestral land, but at the same time you don't want to allow to us to do the same. It is due to this that there has been no solution for 36 years. If you didn't insist on the ethnic cleansing of Greek Cypriots and the artificial creation of some "Turkish state" on land where the GCs have been the vast majority for 1000s of years, then there wouldn't be any Cyprus problem, and both you and the Greek Cypriots would be able to live without any problems on their own lands.

Personally I am atheist and I think that both Christianity and Islam can be just as bad. If everybody was atheist, or if at least religion was not an important issue, then we would have one less difference to be exploited.

Historically however there is a difference between Christianity and Islam in Cyprus. The population of Cyprus gradually converted to Christianity even from the time when it was not the official religion. On the other hand Islam was imposed to Cyprus by the Ottomans, either by the transfer of Settlers, or by treating Christians as second category people and forcing many of them in this way to convert to Islam.

The whole world knows no such thing. I wasn't even alive then.

How childish, you can bury your head in the sand all you want, that doesnt stop others knowing.

Bollocks. I deny it. You said I wanted to give the whole island away. You're a liar. And what's more you're a Nazi because you would deny me, and other innocent Cypriots, access to our ancestral homelands, as payment for the sins of others.

Giving something away to others means that when you do so it stops from being yours. Uniting Cyprus with the rest of Greece would not give Cyprus to any others, but would simply create a bigger country where Cypriots would be equal citizens.

This is similar to the way that we united with EU. We didn't give Cyprus to any others, we simply united with others in order to create a bigger union because the majority of Cypriots believed that this would serve our own interests.

Uniting our own island with whomever we democratically choose is our right, and not a crime which anybody can punish us for. On the contrary the crime is committed by those foreign imperialists who deny to Cypriots this right, and instead impose on the Cypriot people, by means of brute force and blackmail, arrangements that serve their own interests and not the interests of the Cypriot people.

Your world is my world, dear Bananiot....A world of empathy, compassion and understanding...Those who cannot bring themselves to show one iota of empathy or sympathy for this individual and his suffering have the same mentality as those who have committed the unthinkable attrocities in the first place...They will use anything to justify the hatred and the bitterness in their minds and hearts...

As VP so rightly points out, these creatures, reminds us every day why we are in the mess we are in,and why we can never live in a united country...Thank you for flushing them out ,once again...Keep up the good work, dear friend...Some of us appreciate what you are doing...

.... But of course you do ....... Trouble with people like Banana and your lot is you only look at your own side, whilst all the while you criticise the otherside of the same. In my book that makes you hypocrits.

Welcome back all the same.

Hello Birkibrisli gardash. Just a word of advice. These people may make a lot of noise here but in reality they are like empty tin cans rolling down a hill. Bir, you are not in Brisbane by any chance?

From VP's warped perspective, wanting to "give the island away" to an enemy of Turkey was a violation of the moral code he subscribes to. However, collectively punishing all Cypriots today, including those innocent of this perceived sin, is also a violation. Which makes him a Nazi.

If they came to spread Islam they did a rather poor job of it since Muslim Cypriots have always remained a minority on the island.

Nobody said they were clever or competent at spreading anything other than misery and disease!

But again, you’re not answering the question…

Did they not come here UNINVITED and murdered countless Cypriots?

Get Real, I don't even know what a mosque looks like,...

I can't believe this... You must have been living in another planet then...

Sorry, I should have said INSIDE a MOSQUE. No disrespect to religious people but I just cant do religion, it seriously sucks.
