Can Britain legally do this!?

Can they ban a video game? It is free speech!

Defence Secretary Liam Fox has urged British media retailers to ban the selling of Medal of Honor, because you can have fun!
In Medal of Honor's online multiplayer, the players can play as the Taliban, and have to stop the coalition by killing the allied forces and getting EXP.
This is exactly the same opposition Modern Warfare 2 got because of the level when players kill civilians.
I find this extremely offensive and insulting that this man, is urging shops to not sell a video game which only some find offensive. This is a textbook example of facism and dictatorship! The game is based in Afghanistan so of course someone has to be the Taliban! Who else could they fight? The Eskimo's Special Forces?

Please, even if you don't care, vote against this facist who is trying to ban free speech!

ps. I'm not getting this game, I just hate politicians thinking they know best.

It's too late to vote against these (Conservative) fascists. They are already in (semi) power!

However, I think it's Liam's backward, Glasgow, Libran (cusp) leanings to blame!

Good on you for refusing to buy this game! :D

With some of the other shite thats available,(GTA 4, for example Humping, then killing Hookers), makes my blood boil, COD 4 has some very intense graphics, do they call for that to be banned?, Why not?, cos its only representations of Ruskies, stating to take a racist angle here!!!!.

p.s. Cant you just imagine Lady O, as Lara Croft?

The British Government haven't banned it, they "URGED" retailers not to sell it.

The British Government want to control everything you eat, drink, see and do and they mostly campaign for these controls using taxpayer-funded fake charities....

It won't be long before such a fake charity pops up to campaign against this video game... Urging shops not to sell it will become extreme pressure not to sell it and then yes, possibly a ban...

Remember the smoking ban - for health reasons...? I urge you to click on this link and see what the smoking ban has come to if you live in the UK... :x

But who decides what to ban...? Not you...

What if somebody else wants to ban something you like because it offends them?
