The Tech Park in Limassol is to be built right next to the oil installations and the power gnerating station, hardly comparable to what is being planned at Ayios Philonas.

The wisdom of locating a university CAMPUS, not just a department, with the attendand crowd of students and the businesses that serve their needs at a remote spot is questionable regardless of any other factors. There is obviously no shortage of land mroe suitable for that kind of exercise elsewhere, but like the university at Morphou and Kyrenia the purpose is to establish situations that can be claimed to be irreversiblel in the future because their reversal will cause "dislocation".
