What's the point?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

She shouted at me " and you're telling me you're going to reunite with this people and live happily ever after?" The Greek officer and the others in the line could also hear this and they exchanged uncomfortable looks.

As we sat down recovering from this humiliation she further commented that we will never ever fly into the south again and we will never visit Greek restaurants again, and worst of all I'm never to mention "reunification" again.

... this is a lot more descriptive info than you gave us about the one officer slamming down a passport.

Much more interesting ....

A cry for help!

Perhaps it is YOUR family’s deeds that have put that chip on your shoulder…

Why don't you spill the beans Bananiot? What have your relatives done to have turned their son against his own country?

Rubbish! He came here to patronize refugees… those that were ethnically cleansed and murdered from their millenniums-old land and homes and I don’t take kindly to that!

If this is not done these people will just increase and take more agressive action. Its the same with your government offices are these people especially picked trained to be nasty? why do we have to put up with them?

when do you guys ever condem any tc or turk officer for doing anything? he could come and shoot a gc in the face and you would say its ok...

I have stepped in a few times to translate and once telling a police officer off at Ledra st for making an elderly GC lady wait in the heat, if we do not speak out things will never change.

its because of both sides condeming peace like the abuse and crap they are telling me now to tell me i am an idiot and whatever else they tell me. i bet the hard liner tcs are the same to any pro peace tcs

They do question, but do not use the foul language you were subjected to Palio. (apart from Runaway, but he is a foreigner). These people who always attack using foul language are not representative of Cypriots of any colour. They are cyber bullies, thats all. If you can, just ignor them.

I am surprised ADMIN allows this type of bullying; we tried to stop it but we get the usual response. 'If we dont like it we can leave'. I am sure the law regarding cyber bullying is broken on the CF and one day someone will take the matter up with the 'authorities'. :?

I honestly believed most of the responses would have been to ask me to excuse the rude officers conduct and that this was an isolated incident and perhaps such racist officers shouldn't be put on such duties. At least thats what I would have said if any of my GC friends were in the same predicament.

At least I have Paliometexo to thank for his understanding and sympathy. As for the rest of members comments, what can I say? We have them here in the UK, they are known as the National Front, BNP. They are condemned and detested by all decent law abiding citizens, I hope the likes of Get Real, Oracel B25 etc are the minority and are condemned by decent Greek Cypriots.

Decent, law abiding citizens do not recognise the green line of envy and hate, that de facto divides the island nation of Cyprus and its people, as a 'border'.

Why cant they also debate and put forward their case as you do without the abuse? Or are you less of a Cypriot than they?

You came here to patronize 185,000 refugees, 5,000 dead, 100 raped, and multiple other crimes committed against the indigenous population of Cyprus, by having the audacity to complain about one airport employee who didn’t “smile” to entertain a disgusting TURK who is harboring and abetting the Turkish dogs who still illegally hold 37% of Cypriot territory hostage 35 years on!

You ain't as smart as you seem to think you incompetent little Turkish nincompoop!
